Secured Courier

You have to send a valuable object to your friend, through a courier.
Since the object is valuable, hence it must be kept inside the box during the transit and quite obviously, it must be locked. The key's should never be sent through this courier or any other medium.

The question is, what would be your (or friend's) strategy to get this valuable object delivered safely.
If you are using a number based lock, rather than a key based lock, in that case you cannot communicate the number over phone or in written, due to security reasons.

Do the following:
1. Lock the package and send it over to your friend.
2. He then puts another lock(to which he has the keys) to it. He send the the courier back to you.
3. You now remove your lock and then send the box back to your friend.
4. He then uses the key that he has to unlock the box.

You definitely need to have it locked for sure, so that you'll be sure that it's safe. Thanks.

The receiver will have to dispatch a click-lock(in open state) for which he has keys, and I will lock the package with this lock!
